Terms and Conditions for FB-1 (UK)

Welcome to FB-1, a content platform operated by Film Buddy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using FB-1, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the platform. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use FB-1.
1. Introduction
FB-1 is a content platform that offers a variety of services including video content, educational resources, live Q&A sessions, and other media related to the film and TV industry. The platform is provided by Film Buddy, a UK-based company dedicated to supporting individuals in the media and entertainment industry.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using FB-1, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform.
3. Eligibility
To use FB-1, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18 but at least 16 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use our platform. By using FB-1, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
4. Account Registration
4.1 Account Creation:
To access certain features of FB-1, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account information, including your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
4.3 Account Termination:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if your conduct impacts our community or the operation of FB-1.
5. Use of FB-1 Content
5.1 Content Ownership:
All content available on FB-1, including videos, articles, images, and other materials, is owned by Film Buddy or our licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.
5.2 Permitted Use:
You may access and use the content on FB-1 for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from FB-1 without our prior written consent.
5.3 Prohibited Use:
You agree not to use FB-1:
1. For any unlawful purpose or to engage in any illegal or fraudulent activity.
2. To transmit, upload, or share any content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
3. To infringe upon the rights of others, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.
4. To introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful material that could disrupt the operation of FB-1.
6. User-Generated Content
6.1 Your Content:
You may have the opportunity to post, upload, or otherwise contribute content to FB-1, such as comments, reviews, or other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Film Buddy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, and display your User Content in connection with FB-1.
6.2 Content Standards:
You agree that your User Content will comply with these Terms and will not be unlawful, harmful, or infringe the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to remove or modify any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable at our sole discretion.
6.3 Responsibility:
You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it on FB-1. Film Buddy does not endorse any User Content or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
7.1 Disclaimer of Warranties:
FB-1 and all content provided on the platform are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
7.2 Limitation of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Film Buddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of FB-1, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of FB-1 shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing FB-1.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Film Buddy, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of FB-1, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.
9. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. 11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation.
